Thank you for helping to support our preservation work!

The Victory Horticultural Group (VHG) exists as a mission-driven organization with the sole purpose of working to preserve and protect various aspects of horticultural biodiversity and history.

We are a small, farm-based, family owned and operated organization with big goals, but small resources. Our primary source of funding, for all of our projects, is generated from the sale of the rare seed varieties which we raise for the Victory Seed Company and from occasional donations from like-minded folks.

Our rare and heirloom seeds have been a labor of love since the 1990s but rooted in a multi-generational heritage of farmers and seed savers dating back to early 1600s here in America.

It is upon our heirloom seed preservation work that we have built our reputation for providing high quality, well researched and documented, heirloom seeds.

Many other seed sellers have purchased their original seed stock from us and benefit from the research that we have done.

Our family's farm is now primarily used to grow out rare seeds. Other, non-commercial farming activities also occur here. The farm is a direct connection to our ancestors and allows us to "practice what we preach."

In 2002, Network Services Group, a Portland Metro-based information technology and web consulting company, became part of VHG. No longer providing these technology services, their old domain, WebGrower.com, has being repurposed into an informational resource for gardeners and seedsavers.

Another project that falls under the Victory Horticultural Group's umbrella is the Victory Horticultural Library and the Seedsman Hall of Fame

As mentioned previously, we are a small organization with limited resources; the majority of which are dedicated to the biodiversity preservation. The Horticultural Library, although something that we are very passionate about, is currently progressing as time permits and with donations from individuals interested in preserving historical documentation.

Thank you for your interest in our heirloom seed and historical horticultural preservation work!
